At  the International Copper Association Southeast Asia Ltd, we take pride in creating an environment in which the organisation shares its success with the employees who have helped us achieve and exceed our goals.

Below are our primary guiding human resource principles which we adopt at ICASEA.

At ICASEA, there are eight major Human Resource Principles that are important in our everyday working life with each of our colleagues in the big Copper Family.

1) RESPECT
There are a number of ways we can show respect to each other:
• By listening
• Showing empathy
• Quickly responding to others needs
• Questioning ideas and assumptions in a calm, non-threatening manner.

2) POSITIVE THINKING
Always think and speak positively of each other and the organization.

3) OPENNESS & SHARING INFORMATION
Be open with each other and actively share information, so everyone can benefit from what you have learned.

4) HONOUR COMMITMENTS
The four basic ways of honouring commitments are by:
• Being Punctual
• Respecting deadlines
• Being prepared
• If necessary be flexible and open to change.

5) HAVE FUN AT WORK
Where possible be light hearted and make your office a fun place to be.

6) CONFIDENTIALITY
Respect any confidentiality that ICA members, or your colleagues, have shown in you.

7) BEING A TEAM PLAYER
Learn to share, and help each other work as a unified team to achieve your goals.

8) BE CONSISTENT & CONSTANTLY IMPROVING
We will continue to develop competencies that will allow each of us to be consistent and work at achieving our high standards.

 

We all want our place of work to be a happy, safe and positive environment where we are able to achieve our maximum potential during the day and go home at night with feelings of satisfaction; proud at what we have achieved. These are the hallmarks of the big Copper Family and we should all know and understand them well.
